The following are a series of projects that were funded by community organizations working with vacant spaces.

Youth Art on Vacant Structures- In Dayton OH, Mayor Rhine McLin proposed the idea of hiring an artists to work with area youth in creating art for boarded up buildings. Working with the department of recreation and youth services as well as the department of building services, a summer project was created that placed neighborhood youth's art in place of boards on vacant structures throughout the city

Temporary Gallery in Vacant Building- Green Bay, WI. Artists working with development group have turned vacant building into a temporary gallery for use until space is rented.

Phantom Galleries in Vacant Store Fronts- Los Angles, CA. Organization working with area artists, developers, city and curators to transform vacant spaces into temporary galleries.
